Quite impressed my comp can still handle most modern games despite being about 5 years old now. Not on max settings any more, but still pretty.

Whew, engine rebuilds are interesting. Just shelled out a whole wedge of money for parts including piston rings and big end shells from germany of all places. Also had dire warnings from forums that if I'm doing this, I should get the crank ground to make sure everything fits, else it will all fall apart. On the other hand, I'm working with a mechanic with an awful lot of experience with classic cars and engine rebuilds, and he reckons it's not necessary, so just hope the best really.

If this came about, the gumph about saving animals is irrelevant since nearly all cows, sheep, pigs etc exist purely to be farmed. So with no purpose, they would be killed off. I don't think it would produce as good a quality meat as you get from a real animal, which is already not that great since they're fed to grow fast, leading to fatty and blander meat in my opinion. Nutrition wise, you could squirt as much added nutrients into it as you like, I do wonder if this lab grown meat would have the nutritional value that animal meat would have.
