It was my abject failure at installing the WHTW mod when I was younger which led me here.

Sips is doing a play through of the remastered grim fandango if you want to see what it's like.

Was the cat on bath salts?

Ok sounds interesting. I think it really depends on who you're aiming this at, casual board gamers may be put off by the complexity of the rules so you have to keep that in mind.

Iceland is such an amazing country, I'd love to go back there. The amount of volcanic activity there is amazing.

I had to vote for murder fest as I am very competitive as is my family so a game which is very competitive appeals to me. I think that as Glaurung said having a period of time before people start dying off would be appealing to more casual players. Perhaps have players need to consolidate their power base or something before they can start to take out rivals? I don't really know too much about boardgames though so take these suggestions with a pinch of salt.

That's quite a large area... Do you know if it's still expanding?

I thought I saw a thread on /r/askhistorians about this guy, I can't find it right now though. A lot of the people on there were saying that a lot of his claims are a bit silly like the lack of a quiver and such. Also, surely most archers wouldn't be sprinting around and trick shotting people, they'd be in a formation probably firing volleys where it doesn't matter too much about rate of fire as long as you keep discipline and fire at the same rate as everyone else. I think his style of shooting would seem to suit competitions quite well but I don't really know too much about archery so can't pass too much judgement. It's cool though.

Very true, I just hope it will be awesome. It's not like there is a lack of good TW mods out there for warhammer either so that proves it can be done and done well at that.

Orcs, ogres and the chaos hordes would work well with that mechanic to be honest. Hopefully GW don't try to lean on CA as it will probably ruin the game.
