I fired it already so I know it works. :P

Finished out the sanding on the stock and stained it yesterday. No pictures since I haven't replaced my busted camera. I'll try to get something visual going...

Failed to get step-by-step photos of the completion of the rifle, but here is what it looks like now:

I vote you should build an organ gun.

A) It would be totally portugaling awesome
B) You might actually hit something

Hellblaster volley gun!
A proper one! With rotating barrels and a ton of cannonballs!  >:D

Maybe add a few more barrels (is that what they are called? I just suffered a bit of a mind blank) and you'll be getting there.

Made some good use of my weekend!

Firstly I constructed an olde garden cart to use for firewood and the like. Still needs a handle and paint job but otherwise...

Then I finally got around to doing some more on the new muzzleloader kit that I bought like a year ago.
A pile of parts:

Nearly ready for finishing:

I didn't get any step-by-step photos since the process was basically the same as the previous rifle; inletting the stock, sanding everything flush, etc. This one is also a Pennsylvania/Kentucky longrifle, only in .50 caliber instead of .45, and also I've modified it to use a flint lock rather than percussion. In the first picture you can see the percussion lock (dark one) that it came with, and the assembled flint lock in the second picture. I had to remove the drum/nipple system from the barrel and craft my own touch hole liner to replace it. I just got a standard bolt from the hardware store, drilled it through, screwed it into the barrel, and then cut it off and filed it flush.
I'd be more apathetic if I weren't so lethargic.
