Yeah, just eat a lot of pumpkins and other +STR foods.

Apparently after eating a ton of pumpkins you'll resemble an anabolic-steroid fueled monster.

Just be sure to have a table full of cutlery.
If I remember correctly, they improve food stat bonuses. Or something similar which makes you gain stats faster.

they lower the amount of hunger food regenerates so you can eat more food and increase stats without overfeeding.

spamming "call the thunder" before engaging bear in 1v1 and strangling him to death, best fight ever.
