I am thrilled that my entry has been chosen as a winner... To be very honest, I just sent it in because I wanted my stories and characters to reach more people and what better community is there on the net than you kind and lovely souls?
I hope that you enjoyed reading about Azerlathes and Venmaros, as much as I enjoyed writing about them.
I've read and looked through all the other entries, and it makes me so happy to see how the theme had been played with in all these different ways (tesswatty's dice entry made me gawk and I am now reminded that I would most certainly need to expand my own dice collection and soon). I am also very,
very intrigued by Spritelady's winning entry, and it made me a little sad as well. I wonder if the Khionaskadi and Azerlathes may find companionship in each other, given how humans just make them... sad. Both also make me wonder if there are truly immortals out there, watching us and being... just very sad about our tired (and also happy) little lives...
But the melancholy from Spritelady's and my pieces were very nicely met with Trickthegiant's cute little piece on Amelie and her sunset dresses, how I wish we could all just wear sunsets too...
Meanwhile I hope that Tusky's cartoon is assured that I (and I am sure Spritelady, too) will take very good care of our prizes and value and love them very much! And Jubal's sunset photos just make me want to go sky gazing again...
Thank you to everyone for organising this contest, and more importantly, I am ever so grateful for being here!
