Last Seed, 24, 3E433. It is late in the afternoon.
Jacos knotched an arrow into his wooden bow..
Our plan was that I'd pick them off, from a safe distance, proberly hiding, so they wouldn't see who was attacking.
He aimed at one man, a man with a nasty scar through his left eye, with an iron short sword sheathed.
Then, my brother would go in and attack them in the confusion that would follow.
Aiming at the head . . loosening his grip . . .
Hopefully, he'd take them by suprise after I'd taken one or two out.
Three bandits sat around the campfire, grinning and talking, some hunks of meat, proberly boar, was sizzling over the campfire on a spit.
We were lucky - there had been only three bandits. I could take most of them out if I was lucky.
Jacos let go, and the arrow flew at the man, hitting him in the chest, with a Thunk - The two other men looked at him in confusion.
The arrow hit him in between the eyes, killing him instantly.
And that was when Jacos felt a dagger against his throat.
Somebody put a dagger to my throat, behind me. So there was four people.
His brother rushed into the camp, holding back the two, expecting help from Jacos . .
One of their swords got a lucky blow, stabbing my brother in the chest - He collapsed.
Jacos stared in horror as his brothers body fell to the floor, blood coming out of his wound. Jonnis cried out in pain.
I realized then that help was needed, or I would proberly share the same fate.
And that was about the time when help arrived.
Angelina put her hand on the arm of the bandit with a dagger to Jacos' throat.
Angelina muttered a word, and fire came through her fingers, spreading across the bandits arm, to his head, and across his body, ending the bandit's life.
She spoke words of magic under her breath, and summoned fire, burning the bandit, and killing him.
I aimed my bow and another bandit, who had seen the fire, and was approaching. My aim was true, and it killed him.
Jacos just hit the bandit, in the chest, almost missing. The bandit fell to the floor, bleeding badly, holding his wound.
After killing the last bandit, we rushed over to Jonnis. Angelina placed a hand firmly on his, and said, quite loudly and clearly, one word.
"Heal"
"Heal".
Magicka flew through her fingers, to Jonnis' wound, magic threads stitching up the wound, duplicating his blood, and reducing the pain.
Magicka healed my brother, and he spasmed slightly as it quickly healed him fully. He looked very healthy, more healthy then he had before the heal, actully.
"That was a full heal. If I heal you anymore, you'll just a bag of skin held together by magic, try not to almost die for a while." Angelina said, grinning.
Angelina and I talked for a while. She told me that she was collecting herbs, when she heard a man shout out in pain. She rushed over here to find a man with a dagger pressed to my throat.
Jacos and Jonnis searched through the barrels and chests of goods, finding one full of things the merchant had described; "I only want my most expensive goods back, the cheaper goods would take too long to carry from there and back to here. I had a collection of steel daggers, steel shortswords, and even a few silver weapons. I need you to collect them."
After me and Jonnis found a chest with a collection of weapons. We emptied the weapons into a backpack, which was easy. Most of them were daggers, with a few shortswords, and one axe.
We also took the bandits weapons, as they had been using steel weapons, and one of them had a steel shortsword.
The group headed home to the Imperial City.
We headed to the Imperial City. We were payed a bonus for collecting all of them intact, without missing any. A ten septims bonus.
Angelina didn't ask for a share. And Jonnis didn't complain about our usual fifty-fifty sharing method.
Jacos headed home, and begun writing his diary.
-Jacos Farinas.
((Yeah yeah I'll write the in-game date soon.))
