I also have problem with saved games when I play as Chaos. It just crash when I try to load. Dark elves and Tomb Kind work properly. And figures of Chaos generals and family member look... strange on campaign map- I see only flying helmet, cape and sword but no body or same texture stretched to cursor.
Autosave already was disable when it happen.
