Sounds good, especially the backup bit - you can never have too many backups.
Meanwhile, I have just voted by post for the first time in my life. It's an odd feeling: there's none of the familiar and reassuring ritual of the polling station: having my name checked and a ballot paper issued, marking my vote with a stubby little pencil on a string, and then putting the ballot paper in the ballot box. Instead, I get to sit at home and do it all at the same desk as I am now typing this! It also means I'm relying on Royal Mail as an essential component of the process, which doesn't entirely fill me with joy.
The other parts of the democratic process continue unabated: once again I've spent a good part of my day pushing LibDem leaflets through letterboxes. Aside from the hailstorm, it's been quite pleasant.
