Please keep in mind that the top left will contain stance icons and unit count.
For that reason I would rotate the javelin unit 90 degrees clockwise. May need some stance adjustment then to make the weapon more prominent.
Love the cards, preset with 3dsMax?

Guys. This is now of the utmost importance. I cannot stress how much we need these cards done. Xeofox is willing to do some as well. Can we please get the ball rolling here? I'm setting a deadline: these must be all complete in two weeks. We need to release soon and unit cards are holding us back. Two weeks, and let's try to see progress here every day. I'm a leader who'd rather let his guys work at their own leisure, but this is being put off way too much and it needs to get done. So I'm pushing you guys a bit. Find some time everyday for two weeks and knock out some cards

If I may suggest something:
when making the UI cards (not the ones you have displayed, the ones in the unit selection area), why not display the full soldier on the card, rather than just the upper half of the body?
Unless you find it unaesthetic.

The image is so small that displaying the entire unit will make him look extremely small and it becomes difficult to differentiate between certain units.

Depending on the headgear between hip and lower chest high usually gives the best results, graphic wise. Don't forget to allow for the space on top for the additional info display.

Honestly the vanilla cards do the best job of being able to show everything. Use those as examples.
