If you'd like to help I'm very open to the offer, and to teaching you anything I can help with.

The main things that need working on are probably;
- Resources on the map, massive slog but doable
- Building trees
- Text and descriptions

There's other more complex stuff too... drop me a PM at some point, though bear in mind that I'll be away over the next week. If you want to make a start, just tinker with things to find out what they do, that's the main thing really.

And, of course, welcome and make yourself at home.

I've just got myself a copy of Autodesk 3DS Max Design so that I can hopefully learn and make stuff for the mod.

I'd love to help with those areas you've listed, but I'm afraid I wouldn't know where to start I've a complete beginner, but I have a lot of time on my hands.

If you, or anyone, could help me, I would very much appreciate it and I would be glad to get working with you.

If you have 3ds Max, you'll want the .CAS import/export script, and I will be able to keep you supplied with model editing jobs more or less until the end of time (modelling is the one part of RTW modding I am literally unable to do).

This is the import/export script, it was written ages ago but I think it should still work:

Try opening models, fiddling around with them and saving them and so on for now - move weapons around, try retexturing things... A really useful but hopefully fairly simple thing you could try would be finding the araby handgunner, and moving the handguns on both Empire handgunners and the Dwarf Thunderers so they're in the same hand and the same facing as the araby one (the animation we've got was made for the Araby gunners, the others all had their own anims for RTW 1.2 which now don't work).

Sure thing, I'll give that a blast, I'm enjoying learning how to use this software, its my first time doing anything like this. Currently trying to model a repeater crossbow for the dark elves so that I can add it to the warrior model. I'll definatly work on the Empire and Dwarf handgunners aswell Anything for the cause!

I've started work on this again, fixed a lot of the text files and nearly finished dealing with a large skipload of building errors which have been hampering the mod for ages.
