Today went well I think.
Audition was short, but fine, we struggled on the R1s (guess the connection with as few clues as possible) and R2s (guess the end of the 4 part sequence with as few clues as possible) because the sport and pop culture knowledge was a bit outside our boundaries (partly on age grounds!). We got full marks on the practice wall though and did well on missing vowels; they definitely seemed to think we were a worthy standard, but it just depends what other teams they have and the average calibre. If we don't get on this time I feel like it would definitely be worth another shot in future. They also liked our cloaks (and the producer-y person was very excited to borrow a spare one for a photo!).
Also, random thing on the way home, hanging around in Marylebone station in a cloak (as you do), decided to play the piano for a bit. Both the piano and I had seen better days for music making, I was just hamering out chords on whichever of the keys still worked and singing along. My poor musical choice turned out to be a good life choice though - not only did I get someone actually telling me how nice it sounded, but - unbeknownst to me - it turned out that the nearby cupcake stand delivers free prize cupcakes to musicians they like, so I got free food out of it as well. Not bad considering I haven't played in years.
Tomorrow, time to start sorting out computing woes...
