This thread is for discussing the monthly newsletter that is now being sent out monthly. The newsletter contains information about what has been going on in the past month at Exilian, and similar news.

Here you can discuss the latest issue, comment on it, give criticism, feedback, woops of joy, etc.

I am currently in the process of writing the first issue, and will post it when it is sent out.

This thread is for discussing the forum, mainly its underlying software (Zetaboards) and any issues/requests. It will be checked by myself and Jubal, and if there is a fixable problem, we will try to sort it. Unlike the website, which is completely made by me, the forums are predigested for the admins, so it is easier to set it up, but also means we have less control over what it can and cannot do. So keep that in mind when reporting issues, as we may not be able to sort them.

The War Cabinet - ETW Discussion / AI since 1.3 - Overly aggressive?

Just started a new game as Great Britain, and within a few turns, without any provocation, I had nearly every native nation against me, and half of Europe and India against me. I swear the AI weren't this aggressive before 1.3, your thoughts?

So, Exilian now has a fully functional gallery: http://exilian.co.uk/gallery/

It is currently undergoing cosmetic surgery, so don't be surprised if it looks a bit odd at points. It should soon look like the rest of the site.

And please post comments, I am starting to despair that nobody cares.

NOTE: It does not have links to the rest of the site at the moment, so keep your fingers on your back buttons.

The site is back up, check the news post on the main page for details.

ALSO: I would like suggestions for how we could improve the site. It can be anything from graphics, to content, to technology etc. All suggestions welcome, post them in this thread. I want to keep improving the site, but I also want to know what the users of the site want. So, fire away.

Hi guys.

Due to my meagre (read: non-existent) income, I cannot sustain our current hosting, and tbh, they're giving me a pretty poor deal. I'm going to cancel our current hosting, and hook up to another host who seem to have a much better deal for our needs. Because of this, the site may go down for a day or two, and the domain may change again, depending on whether I can keep the domain, and if not, they will probably keep it until it expires. Any content on the site will be safe, as it will be backed up first.

I will get the site back up as soon as possible, and the forums will be unaffected, as they are not hosted by the same people.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

The Exilian domain name has changed from exilian.net to exilian.co.uk. Please change your bookmarks and links to reflect this so you don't end up with dead links to our site.

Questions and Suggestions - The High Court / Exilian News System

I have created a basic news system for the main Exilian site. It shows up on the main page, and can be updated from another page in the site.

The page from which you can edit the news is password protected and only admins and possibly content contributors will have access to it.

My main problem at the moment it how to implement the news box on the main page. At the moment it is a box that looks similar to the text boxes of the form, but it looks odd like that, yet I don't know how else to implement it so that it looks good. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Since the old banner looks a little screwed on the new site, I thought we could do with a new banner. I made a new one in the vain of the old one, but with soome M&B goodness as well. This is just a suggestion, if you want to offer up your own, tell me.

I'll upload mine as soon as I find a location where there isn't a filter that thinks the upload page on photobucket is porno...

Exilian Website

In case you haven't noticed, a basic navigation bar has appeared on the website. Positioning etc is not sorted yet, as I put it in at 2 in the morning. I am also trying to solve the glitch with the M&B page, and am in the process looking for advice to improve the layout and design of the website. Go ahead.

This thread is to recount amusing moments you've had in any of The Elder Scrolls games.                                                       

I recently had one, exploring Fort Urasek in Oblivion where I opened a door in sneak mode to see a goblin staring me in the face. Funnily enough, the eye was still dim so he didn't know I was there, and next thing he knew he had been shot across the room by one of my arrows. The physics in the game, while not always believable, are always amusing.

Mount and Blade Discussion - Sargoth Town Square / Fighting for Lady Isolla... Where Next?

So, I've renounced my oath with Yaroglek and have gone to help Isolla claim her throne. I have captured Reindi Castle and have Lords Regas and Beranz on my side, so where next? I'm thinking of going for Senuzgde(?) Castle, but I think I need more archers for that. Anyone have any suggestions? Also uses this as an excuse to talk about how your own rebellions are going.
