Eurgh.... I was working up a response to this thread about and hour ago and a mouse showed up right next to my feet... So... i'm gonna hold off doing the badge for Skaven until I can fathom sleeping again.

ANYWAYS...

Gotcha, that works out just fine then. :)

I worked up a starting logo and a brief campaign synopsis lifted from the official Ogres descriptor from GW. So, what this pack contains;
Ogre symbols- replacing scythian.
And, importantly a new descr_sm_factions and campaign descriptions docs. So, forewarns in case they are out of date.

This is kind of the trial run, so if you see any problems/concerns/suggestions just let me know. :)

I also switched the Scythian/Ogre colors to a sort of off-white primary and crimsony secondary. Seemed to be the best options for them.

Oh, but I can't seem to figure out the system you guys are using for the packed DDS files. I cant find the txt file referencing them so I can't reroute access. Any ideas? I'm trying to work on Campaign map banner icons atm.

If the DDS file is in the WHTW folder it's ours, if it isn't there then the game just finds the vanilla version instead.

I personally like the Dragon Islanders one but we'll have to see what Jubal reckons.  They are his love-child (Wait, what? :P ) after all.

Of course. I tried to find as tribal looking a dragon as possible when making that one. Also, have you guys ever thought of putting some saurus into the Dragon Isles? In my lizardmen army book it says the Dragon Isles are inhabited by feral lizardmen, maybe they could be part of the Dragon Isles army as well? Could do a Saurus Warrior regiment in the process.

And I'm impressed by your speed too.  Damned quick! :D

As to the Lizards on the Dragon Isles I already informed Jubal of the High Elf colony in there as well.  But he's decided that he's going with tribal humans.  Should be interesting.  

BTW Jubal I read something a while ago about a human race called the Ikkadians or something like that.  They live in southern Naggoroth and seem to be based off Native Americans.  I'll try and find it again to show you.  It might be something to think about.  Possibly as part of the Rebel faction.

Very nice although I'd look at having red on a black field.  Just because I'm sure that's the colours GW uses.  I think.  On second thoughts leave it, it looks really nice. :D

Got a plan for Kislev?  May I suggest a white Bear's head in profile on a sky-blue field?

That's a good idea. I tried a red bear on a sky blue for army colors, but the pic I used just looked bad. I'll take a look around and see what I can dig up.

Well, I actually enjoy making the base symbols, it's converting them all to the various sizes and renaming 'em that slows me down ;).
