I see. Well, I'd say we should go with the barbarian culture then.

I'd not put Iberians to be Carthaginian, they fit either into Celtic or Barbarian, but deffo not Carthaginian. As for Illyrians, they can remain Barbarian, I see no reason not to. Illyria was afaik keen to accepting parts of Greek culture, but they still retained their own.

Rome - Total Realism / Re: A New Map?
« on: October 04, 2016, 07:41:01 AM »
The map itself should not need anything further. It's the populating that will take a bit of time and work: defining regional borders and placing settlements\ports. Placing characters, wonders and resources. Basically all the text file work, a simple copy\paste of previous work will not be possible as the co-ordinates need adjusting (the rest of the entries can be copied)

Yeah, I imagined it would be kind of like that. Well still it seems to me it won't be too much of a hassle, which is great. Thanks for the reply! :)

No probs, take your time :)
Sadly I've never been to southern Croatia, but I intend to, in the near future, if possible. Likewise for Thessaloniki.
But yeah, if you ever find yourself in Serbia and need any kind of help or just a beer or two or ten, give me a call :D

Thanks for your effort, M, patiently awaiting the results.
General question btw, once the map is done, will it be difficult to implement it?

Congrats on your Master of Research degree mate! :D
I'm from Serbia, and I'm interested in any literature on the Balkan Slavs in the medieval era, if you have any to share that would be awesome. Doesn't matter whether it's early or late medieval period really :D

Southeast Europe you say? Have you by any chance got some extensive literature about SE Europe that you could possibly share? :D
Being a person who's from SE Europe, I can never have enough literature regarding that :D
Also, I hope you don't mind be asking, did you specialize professionally or as a hobby? Not that it matters nor is one better than the other, just curious
