DN, Khan: You both head to the outside of town. There's definitely a brassy sound, possibly some sort of bugle, audible in the distance down the valley. It's getting progressively louder, and people are coming out of their houses due to the disturbance. There's also a thumping noise - possibly hooves.

NA: "Thankyou for your invitation, good sir, but I would be afraid to endanger you any more by my presence..." The sound at this point becomes audible in the centre of the little township, and the priest's head flicks from side to side. "That said, if those are soldiers, I might find myself grateful for a hiding place."

DD: You cut some wood.
You gain 2xp.  :P

Some nights, a passenger on the Abyssinia has lost their life.

On this one, two did.

Alicinia de Quenliya had once thought of swapping nameplates on doors as a childhood game. It gained a more deadly urgency when she tried to use it to stop the killers on board the ship. Tonight, though, someone decided she had done enough. She is found sprawled in a hallway, a bullet lodged in her spinal column.

Floam, Alcinia, player-switcher, shot dead.

Poison - intentional poison or even, perhaps, unintentional poison (who knows?) - has been a bane of the passengers. And so tonight again, with Lord Ganderby Elmingham disappearing entirely. It is only when a black shape is spotted floating in the water at dawn that he is pulled up and the deadly traces of chloroform noticed. He is still wearing his masonic robes.

Dripping D, Lord Ganderby Elmingham, Mason, poisoned (and then thrown overboard).

5 left alive - JUST THREE TO LYNCH.

Done the interviews. About a month or so and I'll find out how they went, god only knows 'til then (well, and Drs Burt & Pooley, and Prof. Parry of Pembroke College, Uni of Cambridge).

I stop walking, and lean against a wall in something which hopefully looks like an attempt at nonchalance, facing the approaching figure to see what it/he turns out to be.

Sidle along the edge of the street towards the cry, staying in shadows as much as possible.

I'm going to chip away at writing a player's guide to the WHTW factions and their campaign positions, etc, which will be here.  :)

It'll probably end up including a fair few bits from the old "Previews" thread, but with campaign advice as well.

If he never existed that would violate causality, so I'll go for dead.

He's an ageing, bible-thumping moron who's a massively overused trope anyway. There, I said it.
