Here's all the maps I've made for 0 A.D., for your use and enjoyment.
To InstallGo to your 0AD folder, then go binaries -> data -> mods -> public. Then unzip public . zip, go to maps -> scenarios in the new unzipped file structure, and paste 'em there then unzip. You should be able to reach them ingame by selecting "All Maps" under the map filter when starting a game.
On Ubuntu, your 0ad folder will be buried in /usr/share/games/0ad. It won't have the maps/scenarios folders, so open up Nautilus as root (Alt+F2, gksudo nautilus) and enter your password, then navigate to /usr/share/games/0ad/mods/public and create a folder called 'maps' (without quotes) then inside that make one called 'scenarios' (without quotes). Then put your map files in there, and access them the same as above.
Jubal's Maps Pack for A13 Maghada:This contains Barcania II, Colonia, Epidaurum, Nova Isla, and From the Mountains to the Sea in one pack:

Individual maps for Alpha 13:Barcania IIThis stormy-looking island map contains huge potential - a swathe of rugged inland forest cuts off an athenian, a carthaginian, and a briton village. Around the edges of the island, cliffs and coves bring huge potential for sheltered bases and ports, with the starting villages sheltering a few peninsulae or islands accessible only by muddy tracks. Barcania II updated with new factions as above (the original had 2x Hellenes, 1x Celts):

ColoniaA carthaginian colony is founded on the Celtic/Iberian coast - but the locals aren't going to give up without a fight! Carthage, Celts, and Iberians struggle over a central valley on a resource-rich and rugged map.

EpidaurumThe map is actually based on the modern coastline (Cavtat in Croatia) and so bears no relation to Roman/Greek Epidaurum except the name and location basis. Three Greek villages (Macedonian, Athenian, Spartan) in two bays fight it out on the Illyrian coastline for supremacy - both on land and on the water.

From the Mountains to the SeaA classic multiplayer designed map for one Gaul and one Athenian player. The Greeks start on an island, the Celts in the rugged and wild mountain regions of the map. The vast majority of the resources are clustered along the wide and almost indefensible coast, filled with light forests, marshes, and flat coastal plains. Whichever side controls the resources is more open to assault either from land or sea... the war is about to begin.

HimalayaYears after Alexander's retreat, it seemed as if the Macedonians had barely left anything in the Himalayan foothills near India. In fact, some of them had never left... 1v1 Macedon VS Mauryans.

Nova IslaFor two players; greeks versus celts on an island. includes rough mountainous hills in the west, sweeping woods and grasslands in the east, marshes in the NE, and other such nice features. Pretty fun; a third player is there, for testing purposes mostly, and consists of a few shipwrecked sailors.

Old Maps(For Alphas 4/5: May still work, may not)Spoiler
A4/5 Maps PackThe old Maps Pack; most of these still work OK, just using Celts & Hellenes instead of the newer factions.

Barcania ISimilar to Barcania II but with Hellene/Hellene/Celt as the factions.

Forests of the StormA battle over thickly forested northern Iberia, with a branched river cutting up a map with heavy forests in the centre and the rugged foothills of the Cantabrian or Asturian mountains around the edges. 1v1 Iberians versus Celts.

The Rebels of IposThe Hellenic city of Ipos was doing fine. A good navy, a new sarissa-based army, and powerful walls were all achievements of the new king, Philip (just shoe-horning in some special characters here), and his general Themistocles. However, all was not well. Philip's military success was costing the ordinary people in life and coin, and eventually, while the king was at his palace down the coast hunting, the great orator Xenophon rallied an army of militiamen to attack the city. This is where we start; the countryside has been raised against Themistocles and Philip, who as a result have little access to resources. However, they have by far the more powerful army and have control of the navy still as well, not to mention the city with its fortifications and training centres. As additions there are also celts lurking in the mountains and a Roman force not far away...

MigrationIn the fens of eastern Britannia, the Romans are invading and pushing tribes from firmer ground to seek refuge in the marshes. As a result, one small settled village, whose only neighbour until lately was the mad old druid at the marsh temple, is about to get more visitors than they bargained for... This map pits two celt groups against one another across a muddy bog; one starts with a base, the other no base but far more people including many horsemen and chariots. A tiny Roman detatchment can be found on one side of the map, and the aforementioned mad druid is in himself the other faction.

PsychedeliaI don't think this map can be given a normal description. Play it and see.

Three maps added! :)
I likes. :)
How about a short tut for adding maps?
Added.
Epidaurum <3
Now I know that you've been there ;)
Nice maps jubal, hope to see more soon. ;)
Looks perty :)
You impress me Jubal. They look really nice.
You might even suggest them to the 0 A.D. team.
To bad I can't try them out right now.
A fourth has been begun, this one's more designed around being a good 2P-MP-playable map.
Hopefully, not the Grassy Flatlands balanced type map ;)
Good luck, I look forward to playing in it
As a preview, it'll be entitled "From the Mountains to the Sea". Essentially the premise is that the Greek player is on an island on one side of the map, the Celt player in mountains on the other, and the resources are for the most part along the open and almost indefensible coastline. :)
Nice idea, although the balancing for the both islands will be hard. Best luck for you
A few pics wouldn't hurt *whistles*
Here's a pic for you:

File coming soon!
Oh lord, that looks SWEET! I'm guessing that some of your inspiration came from a map in AoM? (can't remember the name though)
Uploaded. :)
Gotta say, I really really want to playtest this map sometime. Anyone likely to be free this weekend?
I might be.
Next week, I'll be there.
Maybe we should all have accounts on something like skype to be able to coordinate better games on any of the games featured on these boards, like RTW, 0 a.d and all that.

Vinlandsaga ;) .
Quote from: "Jubal"Gotta say, I really really want to playtest this map sometime. Anyone likely to be free this weekend?
I think I should be free most of the weekend. Not got anything planned in the daytime anyway.
I'm on all day if anyone else is...
I might have a game with you in the evening, if that's alright.
Yeah, I expect I'll still be here.
How do you guys coordinate games?
MSN, usually.
Ok, Epidaurum is a good map, but getting the secret valley gives way too much of an advantage. Once someone takes it and holds it, it's only really a matter of time, since no one else has access to anywhere near as much materials. Perhaps making an island in a similar mould would alleviate this?
You guys were able to play today?
Yesh
I'm really tempted to make a goldless map sometime. Tons of food, tons of wood, no metal. Result, massive peasant armies beating themselves to death against each other's walls. :D
That would get incredibly tedious, I don't think I could handle that. :P
All maps DO work with Daedalus, in case anyone's interested for the info.
Damn, I think I lost them. Sigh, clean install and whanot.
I wonder how the AI manages, I doubt it will make naval invasions :D
Another Greeks vs. Celts map just finished, this one on an island. :)
*frantic tribal sounds* Uh! Uh! Uh!
How does the AI manage?
AI still can't do anything naval, but on t' land it's improving.
Man, I really can't wait for the final release. Too bad they said that the abilities for units to scale walls won't be included finally. It would have been the perfect fusion and sex of RTW and AoM
I've never heard of this game. :/
Freeware community built RTS. Get it, it is EPIC. :D
It's not epic yet, but I guess Jubal is having great fun tinkering with the core files :P . Seriously, you should share your advancements with them. They might ending up using them ;)
And they might not.
I have created the most messed up map evar. :D
Great description there, it's really easy to imagine what you did :D
2 more maps available for DL. :D
Barcania added - I have to say, it's probably my favourite of the maps I've made so far, so well worth a look! :)
I'll try it somewhere around next week, I want to finish a minimod I'm doing for TGW.
TGW?
The link to the TWC sub-forum (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1217)
I haven't started my own thread, since I few only a few things done from what I want to do. The mod is currently about Central Greece (I think this mean only the "real" greek states, it extends only to the north until Boeotia and a bit of Aetolia) from 360 to 336, although the v.1 is going to be released soon (hopefully!), stretching all the way to Macedon. My minimod is to change the music, add the EB greek voicemod (I'm still trying to get the permission) and change the unit names to greek (the way they are displayed on EB). So far, I have the names and the music, but I haven't heard yet all the songs I intended to use for like ambiance music (what you hear in the strat map), and I am still waiting for the permission to use the greek voice mod, but I already got the files I needed.
I suggest you check it out, although there are a few submods I highly suggest you to install before playing.
Ah nice. Make sure you post it in our RTW sections too. :)
I've got a map ready for release as soon as the new Alpha comes out, a nice 2 player Iberians vs Celts job. :)
Sounds nice, although bummer for having to wait for it.
Feedback for your other maps coming soon! :P
Any ideas for a good map people would like to see?
de_dust2 remode for 0 A.D
dunno, maybe you can inspire yourself in maps from AoEII for example. PPL luv to play maps that remind them of old times.
That's true. If only I could find my AOE2 disk...
New 3 player Iberia/Celt/Hellene map knocked together; there'll be 2 new maps available here once the new alpha comes out. :)
Will they be included in the game?
Nope, I need to give people SOME reason to visit the 0AD sections here. :P
Right, two maps coming right up. :)
God, I'm to lazy to download this all again. I better do a folder just for 0 A.D now. I'll try some luck tomorrow
I'll make a single DL of all the maps tomorrow for you. :)
Woah
You are too kind, sir.
Might be a couple more days, as a concession to the fact I have a few major exams imminent. :P
Will get this done soon, sorry. :(
It's ok, I can wait. :(
New maps are up! The multidownload will be here shortly.
Maps pack added. I think Barcania is bundled with Alpha V, can anyone confirm or deny this?
Ugh, misinterpreted and understood otherwise. I believe two of your maps were included, or at least the uninstaller spared them and kept them in my PC.
Although Barcanian I'm pretty sure that wasn't included, nice map BTW. I just had a few problems with space at the beginning (in the south island). I had to start a massive deforestation program. And thanks to your bot, I now know how to start well a game.
Oh right, hmn.
Any thoughts on the new maps (Forests of the Storm, Colonia) yet?
I actually didn't remember the names of the new maps, and 0ad runs kinda buggy if I have Firefox open (to check out the names). I might as well write them down, I just thought of that.
I'm such a genius
Updated with versions of the most popular/best maps that work with Alpha 13. :)
New map, called Himalaya, to be released soon :) Also teaching myself to make random map scripts :)
Now available to download from the first post. :)
It looks rather small, but nicely designed.
Colonia is my favorite, though.
A himalayan RMS will appear soon hopefully :)
Colonia and Barcania are I think my two best pieces of work, though Mountains to the Sea I'll also always like just because it was my first really decent completed map. I'd like some MP opponents to test them sometime more...
Looks very nice! Sadly, the pc I'm using now can't run 0 A.D., hopefully the game's performance will be optimized in later stages for me to be able to enjoy it.
