Oh, sure! That jam is at https://itch.io/jam/ttrpg-art-asset-jam

I found it through a page that lists jams that explicitly allow physical games: https://physicalgamejams.com/

If you'd like to give something a bit off-the-wall a try, I can recommend The City Of Dreaming Books, by Walter Moers.

It's about a writer travelling to a city where everything revolves around books and publishing to look for the author of a short story manuscript.

Said writer is a dinosaur, and he finds more than he bargained for, tangling with book hunters (murder hobos looking for rare first editions in the book-and-monster-filled catacombs under the city) and discovering plots and secrets.

(Another fantasy adventure slightly closer to the usual by the same author is Rumo and His Miraculous Adventures, which I also like.)

aww. Any plans to make it available again some time?

Might have to save most of them for later, but I really like the idea of more "everyday" people and activities, and am glad to hear I'm not the only one. Thank you!

There is a TTRPG Art Assets jam running on itch.io right now. (only until Sunday, unfortunately)
I would like to draw something/some things for that and make the results available for people to use.

Does anybody have suggestions for not too detailed things that might be useful?

Skills & Resources Offered / German language etc
April 26, 2023, 08:34:30 AM
I'm a native German speaker, and if you want to give some work of yours a German title, or use a few terms or lines of German language, I can translate for you, or check your grammar/word choice if you already translated it.

Up to a handful of lines I'd do for free.

I'd translate small stories/games/whathaveyou for token payment, but only up to ~1500 words; at the moment I'm not able to commit to big projects.

I may also be able to help with "German-picking", like if a name is weird or normal, or what kind of mistakes a native German speaker with mediocre English might make, or whatever not too in-depth questions about (life in) Germany.

Hi there!

I sorta followed vicorva here, I guess?
I dabble in lots of stuff from drawing, painting, writing, different crafts, to programming. Lately I hoard indie RPG PDFs and have a craving to make one myself. i like nature and am a bit of a language nerd. So yeah, hi!
