Thanks!

I've been working on The Hidden Art of Innkeeping for the past 3 years and the game will be released tomorrow (Sep 3, 2024 at 9 am Pacific Time). I just found out about Exilian through Mastodon, and I thought some people here might be interested in the game.

The Hidden Art of Innkeeping is a cozy indie game where you manage an inn. Meet fun guests (including biologists, wannabe adventurers, a vampire, a pirate, and more!), unlock delicious dishes, and configure rooms and amenities as you transform an old farmhouse in a seaside village into a luxurious inn.

Immerse yourself in a fantastic historical setting, where typewriters and Jane Austen novels can coexist with fairies and gnomes, and where people have hedgehogs and turnips as pets. Discover new areas and hidden treasures, uncover secrets, and rejuvenate the struggling village!

There's a demo that'll be available until the game is released, so you can try it if you want!

Note:
This game is a sequel to The Lost Art of Innkeeping, but can be played as a stand-alone game without knowing anything about the previous game.

The Welcome Hall - Start Here! / Hi there!
September 03, 2024, 01:14:52 AM
Hi everyone!

I'm a solo video game developer who started off making free, short games for game jams several years ago. I learned that I really enjoy making games, and some people enjoy playing them, so I released my first commercial game, The Lost Art of Innkeeping, in 2020. I'm just about to release the sequel, The Hidden Art of Innkeeping, and found out about Exilian when I posted about the game on Mastodon. This place seems like a good fit for me, so here I am!

Looking forward to interacting with members here and discovering new games. :)
