Q. How do you crouch?
A. Press "C".

Q. How do I get up from a crouch?
A. Press "C" again.

Q. I cant stand up from the crouch, what do I do?
A. You have to upgrade your game to v.1.134, I reccomend reinstalling Warband, the 1.134 patch can cause crashes.

Q. How do I blow the horn?
A. Press "H".

Q. How do I bash my shield with my weapon?
A. Hold the blocking button down + "Q".

Q. Why did you remove the aiming reticle?
A. To make archery more difficult and you need more skill to use it..

Q. Why does the horses die so fast.
A. Simply because they could take too much damage in Native, so we made them more realistic.

Q. Why do I get so few arrows as an archer?
A. 20 arrows is the realistic amount of arrows being carried.

Q. Can I remove the winning/loosing music.
A. You can toggle the winning/loosing music of and on my pressing "Enter + M".

Q. How does the standard work?
A. Buy one from the loadout screen. It can be found among the spears on most Infantry classes. To use it you simply wield it like a weapon. It will "tick" every 5 seconds, telling you how many teammates you are boosting. You gain 1 gold for boosting per teammate and tic And 3 gold for healing per teammate and tic. By boosting someone you give them a 10% damage increase and heal them for 3 hp/tic. The boosts will not stack with other standard carriers, one will override the other.
The carrier does not recieve the boosts from his own standard, but is free to gain bonuses from another.

This is a mod that will have 4 factions, Vikingr, Anglo-Saxons, Normans and the Kievan Rus. Time period 1066, while the equipment that will be available will be from 6-7th to the 12th century.
The mod will be kept as historical accurate as possible. The mod will also have maps of real locations such as, Hastings,Stamford Bridge and Stiklestad.

The server is hosted on the Einherjar_server. If you wish to host it you have to ask permission.
Make sure you have version 1.134 of warband, if you do not you will have some bugs with the new features. The Einherjar server will run Native on wednesday and saturday evenings, we are training then. Our trainings goes on for about 2 hours, so somewhere between 20:00 - 22:00 (GMT+1) the server will not run vikingr.

Now, something that is quite interesting - especially to those with crashing problems.

One of our members had the repeated problem of crashing in the mod (and also in Native from time to time), especially on map rotation. Tonight, we asked him to uninstall Warband and install it fresh using the 1.134 client, as opposed to patching to 1.134. The result? He didn't crash after that... If you have serious problems with the mod, I would advocate a complete install of Warband using the 1.134 client.

Features.
Raid game mode. The attackers has to bring torches and burn target houses and pick up the loot.
Longboat battle, where 2 ships meet to fight.
Lots of new equipment.
Beautiful maps and sounds that will get you into the right atmosphere.
Troop limiter, to get rid of archer and cav spam, keeping it balanced.
Removed the aiming reticle, so you have to make a real effort when shooting, you will also have fewer arrows, but they deal good damage.
Decapitation, you will be able to chop off heads!
Banner that heal and motivate you teammates.
Horns that you can blow by pressing "H".
You can crouch by pressing "C".
You can taunt by pressing "Q" and for shield bash taunting by pressing the block button + "Q".
