RTR 0.5 Imperial Campaign / Re: Area of Recruitment (AoR)

Depending on what area the city controls

Rome/Latium Region1 - Roman, Latin, Volsci, Sabine, Hernici, Marsi, Aequi and Falisci
Capua/Campania Region2 - Sidicini, Capuan, Aurunci
Arretium/Eturia Region3 - Etruscan
Ariminum/Umbria Region4 - Umbrian, Piceni, Praetuti, Greek if we have greek cities in it, Ariminum afaik didnt exist in 280 so chose better Ikuvium
Bovianum/Samnium Region5 - Samnite
Brundisium/Apulia Region6 - Iapyges
Tarentum/Lucania Region7 - Messapian, Greek...i think Lucania should be with the Bruttians since they were oscans also
Croton/Magna Graecia Region8 - Greek
Rhegium/Bruttium Region 9 - Oscans like Campania as Rhegium was conq by Decius Vibellius and his campanian army like Messana by the oscan mercenaries that slaughtered the greek population.

Etruscan Haruspex, Italic Cavalry, Skirmisher and Brutti Hastati have no place. The area that has Latium should be by now pretty much similiar to the roman armies but im not sure how the troops were oganised, if they had the 3 roman lines.Equipment wise they were prob similar in most ways.

               Hey,

bucellarii is right, i second his comments. At this stage of my thesis research i came to the same conclusions. And it seems we read the same sources and critical comments.  For some more info about this subject this makes a good read too:
