33653 Posts in 1369 Topics by 3154 Members.

Yeah, that's the problem. Most of those accounts are spam bots...
If you don't believe check the Members list. It's easy to recognize them.
They usually have a weird website, ICQ and MSN attached to their profile and no Email.

And that's making our forum so slow. Well, at least for me.

We didn't have that kind of problems on Zetaboards...

Rules:

Bull Charge will work always, even though you're less than 3 ogres and charge less than 6".

All ogres except butchers gain a basic 6+ save from their gut plates.

Ogre Clubs negates parry save, and is a general rule for all weapons like Choppas in OnG.

All army restrictions gone, but gnoblars do not count towards minimum core.

Gnoblars T2, but Sharp stuff is March and Fire, Range 10".

Weapon options for units cheaper, and minor point reductions across the board. Bulls will stay same base cost.

Magic will be standardized. Most spells will stay similar (augments) but with greater range, and can be buffed to affect more units. May also be cast on Yhetees and Gorgers.

Rhinox Riders are super-hard. They get regular stomp and D3+1 Bull Charge, and also has Devastating Charge. (Special Choice)

Scraplauncher, same but moves to Rare.

Rhinox and Mammox are mount options for Tyrant and Hunter.

Mammox can thunderstomp everything, like the SoM Bonegrinder Giant. Insane stats, but expensive (like 290 points base.). Crew can have leadbelcher swivel guns.

Hunter greatly improved. Move and fire with harpoon and monster-killing special rules.

Yhetees as in SoM, but with options for 2HW or GW, and musician now. No standard-bearer.

Leadbelchers auto-hit, and can fire every turn, but only S4, no AP. Don't come with Light Armour.

Magic Items:

Big Names Gone.

Half of items are Magic Weapons.

Tenderizer and Siegebreaker will stay.

Halfling Cookbook grants Loremaster.

There's a banner granting the same frenzy Minotaurs have.

Plastics will be out in October. Finecast in November.

Tabletop Games - The Game Room / What have you painted/converted today

I can't believe that no one has thought of this yet.
This is a general thread in which anyone can post his/hers recent work.

So here's what I've converted today:

I've converted the upper half of Count's Champion for my greatsword unit.
Right now I'm using Reiksguard knights as command for my greatswords, but I'd like to change that...
I'm going to make one greatsword unit and one Reiksguard knight on foot unit (8 or 10 men strong for the beginning).

Now back to the topic... I've used parts from knightly orders, greatsword and old state troop sprues.
I still need to add some feathers, a sash, some minor details and legs, which I'm probably going to make from scratch.
I'll post a picture when I finish the job.

Now, what's your story ?

Here's just a few ideas which could improve this part of our forum...
(Please feel free to post your own ideas... This part of Exilian could really use some love.)

1. Painting & Converting competitions
Why : Well competition can be a good thing...
           It can also lead to improved activity and can be a good way to learn a few interesting painting tricks from other people.



2. Painting & Converting tutorials
Why : If you're good at something you can teach others do it too... It'll make you feel better too because you've helped somebody. 



3. "What have you painted/converted to day" thread
Why : #3 is the most important part... This thread would be a place in which you could post WIP pictures of your models or other interesting projects.



4. Army lists, fluff and battle reports
Why : It's creative and interesting.


5. Gallery
Why : It would be nice to have a place in which we could post pictures of our armies. It's one of the most important aspects of this hobby after all.


Those were my two cents.

According to some people from Warseer, this will be a sort of Fantasy Apocalypse expansion.
The sneak peak miniatures shown are a Manticore and Black Dragon/maybe a generic dragon.
They are also going to release new scenery kits and wizard miniatures.

I would like to inform you that I am resigning from my position as Sebatokrator Popularos.

Thank you for your support and for all the funny moments we shared these last few years.

My life has taken a different direction these last few months... I have a few problems in my life that need to be sorted out.

As Boyninja already said; it's been a good ride.

And in mine opinion it's the best TW game ever... More balanced than RTW and much more interesting than ETW... Graphics are still good too...

So do you have it and do you still play it ?
I've borrowed mine from a friend a few months ago and I was absolutely amazed...
I'm still playing it while I'm waiting for new version of Call of Warhammer for MTW 2...

Anyway I think that I like it so much because of it's atmosphere... Grim atmosphere and earth toned colors really give the game that original "Warhammer feel"...
And the map is one of my favourite parts of the game... You have to see it to believe it ...

Hi guys I'm finally posting my army blog...
I'm new to Warhammer, but I'm pretty familiar with it...

I've chosen Empire because it's inspired by Renaissance, one of my favourite parts of history (and it's close to The Eagle and the Radiant Cross too) .

Second of all, it's on the edge of destruction, surrounded by bloodthirsty races ready to destroy it and it needs to struggle to survive...

I also like their color schemes... And there's plenty of them to choose and my favourite ones were :
- Nordland (it reminded me of Haelmarian union, my favourite faction from The Eagle and the Radiant Cross )
- Averland (yellow and black, just like Holy Roman empire)
- Talabecland (just because I like yellow and red)

I've chosen Talabheim in the end... And It's settled in Talabecland so I can always paint part of my army in that style to represent reinforcements from other parts of the province...

I've also noticed certain similarities with Lotr... But I'm not going to say anything about that right now...



My army currently consist of :
- 5 metal greatswords (6th edition)
- 8 panther knights from knightly orders pack (not yet assembled)



I'll post a picture of my first ever painted miniature soon (it's about 80% finished)... I'll just have to find my camera and a nice background...
... It looks like it'll have to wait till tomorrow... It's getting a bit dark here...

My votes :
The Knights Panther (because of their look)
The Order of the Broken Sword (because of their history)
The Knights Encarmine (they are red and they wield two swords... What more could you possibly want)
I also wanted to vote for The Templars of the Everlasting Light, because I feel sorry for them...
