That mate who walks with a slow, leisurely gait?

This is AMAZING and excellent:

It's the fact that they take the song so incredibly seriously that absolutely makes this cover. Given I rarely like growl-vocals, I have to say this is nonetheless a 10/10.

Loving it! :D

The original is still one of my favorite D&D-themed Youtube videos.

Loving the one with the squirrel! :D

Chase snakes all day

But there are no snakes in Ireland! :P

I've finally started working and receiving a stable paycheck, so I might be able to help out starting next month. ;)

Good one. :D

New computer obtained! I now have a secondary, much smaller/lighter laptop, which given the amount of travel I'm doing will be very helpful - it's literally half the weight of my other one so much easier to just chuck in a bag and take to places :)

And so a new era of modding begins! ;)

I've been pretty sick after the New Year celebrations and it seems like I caught a flu.
Not weird at all though, as everyone seems to be sick these days including my whole family.

That also gave me a chance to go through all three season of The Last Kingdom.
I like the story and the characters, but I have to agree about the costumes.
Most of them make absolutely no sense, being leather cuirasses and loose chain mail aventails dangling around on top of clothes being more of hindrance rather than having any actual use.

Also what the heck happened to those viking swords?
There are numerous instances in the series in which men get themselves stabbed by completely blunt swords with rounded tips.
Why would you even make a weapon which has such an obvious flaw? Is is because people usually tend to be misinformed about swords and assume that's what actual combat-ready swords looked like? The only reason for that is safety during historical reenactment.

Why do you have many guests? Big family, or are you working someplace?

A small, but largely disorganized family so we've had tons of separate visits instead of one big gathering this year. :P
It felt like a siege.

Just binged through The Last Kingdom. It's pretty badass.

I've been looking for something to watch, actually.
I'll give it a try today. ;)

Battling through hordes of guests and way too many meals per day. :D

Sigmar preserve us!

Loving it.

Needs more brass spikes and skulls though.  :P
And a light spray of "Blood for the Blood God!".

I found this quite interesting (and the comments are a blast):

A white substance that makes people happy.
Just like cocaine.

Are celebratory beatings truly necessary?

Just noticed that some companies are now calling 3D printers "replicators". If we continue developing this tech it will eventually become the replicators of Star Trek. True story. :)

Yes, finally! The day when I'll be able to print a armadilloload of my own miniatures will soon be upon us! :D
