Hi, so with my 3rd triumphant(no?) return I bring you sincere apolgies AND the villages of Kakkan, Quhraksh, Vakris, and Franakkar.

None of these are final, and all of them are subject to change, updates, criticism etc.

First, Kakkan, it's the same as my old one, still needs some spicing up I think.
Second, Quhraksh, Set up on a major cattle route, Quhraksh is a major player in keeping the Voroks fed.
Third, Vakris, being the closest village to the Rodhok Border has not been easy to the people of Vakris, constantly being the target of border raids they have recently relocated their village to a much more defensive position on a hill.
Fourth, Franakkar, while the Vorok nobles wouldn't admit it (and the king definitely never would) they know, deep down that they are far behind in technology compared to there neighbors, which is why the king has recently order the largest mining effort the Vorok people have ever initiated, centering in Franakkar.

Let me know what you think, I should be able to get the other two villages up in the next few days. Hope you like them.

Don't worry :) I also seem to always have something stopping me from posting. Anyway, I've proceeded on those villages and should have some done soon and uploaded.

It's taking a little longer than expected, but meh.

Well, today I have completed Karzul Deep(kinda) and Kakkan.


I'll upload Kakkan so you can take a look at it.

Please let me know what you think. Constructive criticism can be well....constructive :)


Now for a little bit of explanation.

First, the "Military" zone of the village. I am thinking of adding a building or two near there to represent barracks. Also the targets and the dummies are interactive :) the dummies can be killed with whatever weapon you want and the targets will output a score when you shoot at them with a bow.

Second, the Grave.... well in truth the ai kept walking villagers over to one area of the map, and it was empty, so I decided there may as well be something there to explain the peasants love of the area. So I decided to put a grave there. Whos grave is up to you. :)

Third, the butcher house... well I thought it would be cool to have a visible place with food. I was only going to put one or two pieces of meat in there but then I got to thinking that alot of people who are in this village will one day be in the garrison of Karzul, so that makes them soldiers, and soldier can't be malnourished :) also there is some salt in the shed for preservation.

Once again, tell me what you think. And more importantly tell me if I need to remove/add anything.

Good news for the most part.


If I enter a town that doesnt have a scene at all I get an error. For example I figured I should try to redo the scenes I had done in the past so while loading Kakkan I get the message unable to locate scn_village_101.scn then after making some changes to it and saving that file appears in the scenes folder. So I should be able to redo these and upload them here.

Very well, I'll wait till' the next release.

I have alot of time on my hands, I work a part time job and I am know taking my College Classes online for at least the next 3 months. So I have alot of free time.

Let me know if there is anything else I can try to do to help.

I still think this is one of the most amazing mods I've seen.

Hey, bet you didn't think you would ever here from me again... :)

Sorry for being gone for so long. I'm nearly done with my University and currently have atleast 2 weeks of absolutely nothing but gaming and work to do. So, I figured I'd give this another shot.

3 questions, is this still alive?

and, after I modify a scene how do I find the file so I can upload it?

and, do you know how to fix the problem I had before with Lords hall and courtyards being mixed up?

Unfortunatley I will have to re-do what I have previously done. My computer has suffered many issues since the last time I posted, I have re-formatted 5 times.

Anyway If you still want my help I will put my amateur scene skills to use on your mod.

Alright, nearly everything is done. The Only problem is that Castle Vorkar has the Lords Hall and the Courtyard switched around. (When you click on Courtyard it goes to Lords Hall and Vice Versa) So I haven't finished that castle. Everything else in that kingdom is done. Some of it could use some touches. I found the scene files but I have no idea which ones go to the villages I did. Any help would be appreciated!

Also sorry for taking so long, too man distractions.......School and Empire Total War! Lol

Well, I've completed Karzul Deep, Mostly, I'm fairly certain it will not work in seiges, and there is one guard that spawns outside of the castle.

I've gotten basic setups on Kakkan, Dhror, Qurhakesh, they just have to be touched up to appear more lively....

Ideas:

1. The Mod, Chronicles of Zendar has a really cool arena with Jousting Etc, if you could implement that arena it would be awesome.
2. Manhunters, where do they all come from? Perhaps a map location called Manhunters Guild or Coalition of Manhunters, where you could purchase some really good blunt weapons and recruit large numbers of Manhunters for your slave catching purposes.
3. Special Tournament featuring every lord from the game, I personally would love to be able to test my skill against them in One on One Combat or Team Combat.
4. Duels, when an army attacks you I want to be able to challenge the leader to a Duel, and then the game could do calculations like when deciding if a lord will rebel, ie How much he likes you, you could also offer terms, if he wins your army disbands and you pay X amount of gold but you are not captured, if you win he must disband his army and pay you X amount of gold, or if you win he must release all prisoners of your faction he currently holds, and vice versa.

Yes, I will be giving you what I have done once I am a reasonable way through. However It would help if you could give me a rundown of how certain factions should look and feel, like the Geroia being Romans Etc. For all the factions. Also If you would like some Villages/Castles to get Special treatment and looks, for example, my rough make of Kakkan is a poor village but with some military attributes, including a Trebuchet with some stone balls, some archery props, and a siege tower setup for training, my train of thought was simple, Kakkan is the Village of Karzul Deep which in my interpretation of that kingdom is the most militaristic of the Towns/Castles, I intend for some Villagers to be training with there Bows and if possible also sparring in the area, I am going on the assumption that Kakkan must pay tribute to Karzul Deep which they pay in Soldiers. If you do not like this idea I will change Kakkan. I will be posting Screens of what I have done later, right now I'm in class.....Business Systems Analyses :(

Please give me your Ideas. And let me know If I am going down the right track with this stuff.

I will go in groups per kingdom, so when I am done with the current kingdom I am working on I will send you the files.

One more question in the screenshots thread Dhror is actually existant, in my game it is empty is this there for everyone else?

I didn't want to use the Bugs thread anymore. :)

I found out that alot of villages and Castles need serius help so I have decided to try to fix them. Here is the list so far, I have not checked all the towns/castles/Villages......
