Signatures taking too much space?

Is it just me or are the signatures adding about 5-6 lines regardless of whether those are filled with text/images? Its sorta strange, think you guys could fix it and have the sig expand as you add more stuff?

I've just had a quick look, and I don't think I can see a way. Unless its because of the max length  :unsure:                                                       .

I hope not. Sigs are awesome lol. Jubal may know a way, but I don't. Guess we have to live with it :lol:.

I've noticed that when you post a long entry the signature only takes up the space filled, weird huh?

I figure that it all posts have the same space that the member info

Can you please make the character limit more than 500? The limit is links and bb code etc as well, so with big urls its not good times .
