So I figured we didn't have one of these and ought to.

Also I recently discovered the whole series is on YouTube, which is bad news for any chance I might've had of getting a degree at the end of this year.

Though of course I may be saved by the fact I'll run out of episodes pretty soon!

Watched it because people said it was awesome, found out it wasn't anything special. Got nothin' on Star Trek!

I prefer it to most Trek that I've seen, I think. It's very cleverly written IMO. And I love the space western aesthetic to bits, which is why I've nicked so much of that in my Cepheida concepts.

What Star Trek have you seen Joob?

Rather little; like a couple episodes of TOS, one of DS9, and a crapload of YouTube clips. All really good stuff that I enjoyed a lot, but I don't think it does either a disservice to say that I think Firefly is of a similar calibre and, being one short series, tends to have a high ratio of hits to misses that a longer series finds it tough to match up to.

All of them, and the movie. Movie wasn't bad.
