Will there be a ballpit?

It hasn't come up in discussions so far, and I fear it might not be a very high priority for our somewhat limited funds. You could sponsor a ballpit, if you like

Apparently ball pit hire costs about £60 for a day. Though that is a pit for use by four year olds, I'm guessing one suitable for adults would cost rather more.

We can just buy our own then we have it for future cons.

That would be more like £250 minimum, which is over double Exilian's bank account. Also we have nowhere to store a ball pit.

I found a foldable hideaway one on ebay for $22 and an inflatable one at Kohl's for $19.99.

Why is everything so expensive in UK?

I was trying to look for ones suitable and tough enough for a decent sized event, to be fair.

If you really wanted to up the ante, you could offer a free two hours in the ball pit to EVERYONE who attends the event.

I believe that strategy has already been tried in convention organising, without great success.
