Here is what properties says.
C:\Games\RTRPROJECT

Now the stuff in the folder comes from the CD version, where I don't have Alexander.  Should I copy the stuff from my Steam folder instead, where I do have Alexander?

Well you have the Alexander.exe that you downloaded right? Also, you're not the only one who's had issues.. In RTRPROJECT delete both your MM and RTR folders. Then In Projects/rtrproject run the symlink batch file as administrator. Then in your alx shortcut make sure the target line reads -show_err -mod:RTR
