It works like this, you ask the time. But you cant say the true time because by the time you have said it, the time has changed.

it was too, and anyway you could give the answer like the speaking clock, or the exact time at which they finished the question, there are lots of ways to get around your conundrum. Now Jubal has the right idea, Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle FTW
