Making this thread because I secretly love 'Life Hacks' and find them fascinating - it's the home maker in me :P

In case anyone is confused, life hack = a way of making an everyday task easier/more effective etc.

I know I use them all the time, but the only one I can think of right now is storing bedding sets inside one of the pillowcases to keep them together and save space.
I also love the idea that keeping a tub of ice cream in a ziplock bag keeps it soft after it's been opened, but I'm yet to try t hat one :P

Oh, and I've found that champagne ice cubes for orange juice for mornings of the festive season don't work so well :P

Anyone else have any/use any? :)

I'll let the picture do the talking.

I would guess that that wouldn't work so well in real life. :P

Silver Wolf

It should.
You just need a paint that dries slowly. Or thinned paint.

Maybe even an additional broom if you're planing to paint larger surfaces.

We tend to buy up all (or as much as we can carry) of discounted food and batch cooking things from it. I don't know if that counts?

Recently we found 500g bags of parsnips for 16p each. Three soups resulted and are now on their way to the freezer for later consumption.

I buy stuff from Lidls, does that count?
