Because I wasn't lacking procrastination methods enough already, I rediscovered Haven & Hearth.

Nea Barcania, as I have dubbed it, has a whole one resident and one building! And great public amenities, by which I mean you can share my kiln and quernstone if you need to. I might even dig a well at some point. And I'm considering starting a pub because I feel this game needs pubs, though I don't even know how that would work. Come and join the colony!
