haven't posted on here in a while but while I am I thought I should ask,
(mainly at UK users) did any of you see the last x-factor auditions?
well if you didn't I will tell that probably the most hilarious moment on tv in ages happened, two gobby, chubby girls punched each other during a duet lol (its on youtube if you want to see it)
Tis but a scratch...

Ohhhh, that now makes sense. I guess I didn't think of it 'cos it's really, really rare to have foreign adoptions in the UK.

Sadly, the arguments over this ground zero islamic centre and that Quran-burning nutter from florida seem to have partially obscured the remembrance this year...  :-/

I have no qualm about it. I am aware enough to know that there are etremists on both sides, that not all Muslims or Christians are psycho. Being an atheist myself I would rather it all be done away with, but since there is no law prohibiting this mosque then they can build it. And as an atheist I don't care what religion any of the people who they murdered were - to me they were Americans.

QuoteHow do I respond when I see that in some Islamic countries there is vitriolic hatred for America? I'll tell you how I respond: I'm amazed. I'm amazed that there is such misunderstanding of what our country is about, that people would hate us. I am, I am -- like most Americans, I just can't believe it. Because I know how good we are, and we've go to do a better job of making our case. We've got to do a better job of explaining to the people in the Middle East, for example, that we don't fight a war against Islam or Muslims. We don't hold any religion accountable. We're fighting evil. And these murderers have hijacked a great religion in order to justify their evil deeds. And we cannot let it stand.

Quote from: "Jubal"god
who? lol j/k i just love doing that

But yeah he was not at all the evil man that the media made him out to be, especially the view you would have seen over there. It makes it hard for the GOP; everything they do is marked evil by the media, and in turn everything the Dems do is a godsend. (there's that word again ha) Of course I don't mean literally everything, but you get my point. The future will see the W as a much better president then he was seen as in his day.
