The Parthian Uprising-An AAR

Edit: I've just realised, because I edited the Roman Generals, the game will have no files for the existing early generals in your campaign. I will email you a new file with the old general.

DO NOT start using AUP for this before then or it will be unfixable!

Ok time for another update!

Lets start with a rebel army attacking me,quite a few peasants there.



I tell my HA's to attack theirs,they get slaughtered.



Next my general takes care of the peasants.



They rout and I go after the general. He is taken down. Victory!



Bah! my enemies are trying to stop me!



So lets soo what this army is



The cheaters! I knew the AI cheated!



Well nothing else happens so I end the turn and guess who shows up!



I hide some of my men to ambush their flank,but typical the enemy come strait next to my abush force.




They have 2 more horse archers than me so this will be hard.I send out my ambush force,you have nowhere to run Mr Horse archers! They are killed by my cataphracts. Now only 2 1/2 to kill as half got away



The eastern infantry is taken down by my cataphracts,easy peasy.



I tell my cataphracts to attack the general,but NOOOO! the horse archers join in!  my cattys rout                                                       



Well I send in my cataphracts for a last charge against the peltasts and archers.



I hate going against faction leaders with 60 bodygaurds                                                       



He soon goes down though,by the hand of my own king.



I chase down the other general,but dont quite catch him,damn trees always getting in the way.



With all my HA's tied down I cant help my general,nothing to do but attack i suppose....



Well I catch them but for some reason (probaly exaustion) my general routs,which makes my HA's rout                                                       



I didnt get the defeat screen because I was too angry...

But the kills were something like this...  
Me: 350 ish
Them:150 ish

Well nothing to do but go for it again...



At least my seleucid army is making progress.

Ok lets start,the AI being as dumb as it is does not attack me from both sides BONUS!



I simply send in my generals to attack,they slaughter them



The enemy general goes down.



Victory!



It was time to leave but before I went I got a lovely message from scythia,they will die for that.



Well thats the end of that update,more coming up,with the bonus of Andalus' AUP! :lol:           :lol:           :lol:

Time for another update!

So lets go. with the turn ended from the last update the seluecids attack me with a half stack,peasants and militia hoplite,my HA's will gobble them up!



I send all my HA's to take out the militai cavalry,they are the only threat in this battle.



Its all good with one of the militia cavs being chased down by my general



Gotcha!



My HA's rout the enemy general,with mine being mown down by hoplites,I hate doing so much micro management I always forget something...



The hoplited as I said are gobbled up. Victory!



They throw another stack at me,its the almost same as the last one!



with it being so similar I thought you would not want to see it. we have Victory!



I assult Hatra,with the seleucid military down the drain this should be easy.



My re-enforcements are almost gere too! with a few friends picked up on the way.



This guy seems like a good addition to the family.



We have a coming of age too! lol arses :lol:         



The seleucids bring up more men,good now I can destroy the garrison too.



The hoplites are surrounded and die by sheer arrow power.



The general goes down!



Unfortunately ny fraps didnt respond during the rest of this battle battle but the whole army was wiped out,with only abou 10 casulties to myself and the city was taken.

This update finishes with my spy moving to Antioch,another half stack!
I dont know how the eggies destroy their armies,especially since this one has 2 units of elephants in it.




Well thats the end of this update,sorry its so short without the AUP but photobucket likes to take its time uploading the images.The next one coming tomorrow!

Good job, i'm really impressed you were able to take the seleucid captial right away, tough break with the armenians though, just keep sending troops at them .

Tough break having your General rout in that one battle. Once they go it is usually very difficult to pull out a win. Still, in spite of that little bump in the road you have been doing quite well. Is that army from Campus Sakae going to be showing up to finish off Armenia?
