Mordheim
« on: August 18, 2008, 09:53:19 PM »
For those of you that don't know
Mordheim is a city, within the Warhammer world, that has been over-run by chaos and smited by the holy twin-tailed comet of Sigmar.
Within this city warbands of brave or foolhardy warriors fight each other and the warped horrers of the city all in the search for a mysterious magical green stone called warpstone.

Many have entered the once great city in search of glory and gold....

but only few have ever returned....

and those that do are often insane, driven mad by the horrors that they have witnessed.

in this thread we can discuss tactics, warbands, scenarios and house-rules.
Tis but a scratch...

I'm assuming your weakness, like mine, will be lack of shootyness?

Definatly a lack of long range shootiness but I've got two henchmen with throwing axes (so that will be 8" range str4) and two with bows. All at only bs3.
The rules for two hand weapons are pretty ridiculous. Can we use a house rule that gives the off hand attack -1 ws or/and shields +2 AS instead of +1? Mabye a shield bash attack? Becuase realistically a shield is going to beat two hand weapons  any day.

Ask DD. Remember though that this is still essentially Warhammer and therefore designed to be moderately retarded.

P.S. Check your PMs.

Aite Jubal them thur falchion rules. Parry with -1 to parry attempts and cutting edge. Either 10 or 15 gc, can be bought by anyone (although not untill after your first battle.)
Masterwork falchions, normal parry, cutting edge, 20 gc rare 9.

This is a noobish question, but what is this? Is it some kind of mod for M&B? I don't get it  :(

Bastardsword/longsword:
15gc May be used with a shield or buckler (you can't use two at once) or two handed +1 str, parry -2 initiative when used one handed. Counts as a two handed weapon for skills (if you have strong man you ignore the   -2 initiative penalty.)
