Would it make it easier for you Dimos if we were to collaborate on two games? The Hill RPG and the Hill SFG or Strategic Forum Game. Because squabbling over something like this is unbecoming of us.

The fact is, what shall now be referred to as the SFG is not MY version. It is a completely different game, inspired by Dimos' sterling efforts to transform the King of the Hill phenomena into an actual game. You are to be commended my good man. However, as you stated yourself, the RPG was just a "trial-run" if you will and naturally, like all trials, some issues were discovered and not all of them were dealt with to the complete satisfaction of everyone involved. Hence why the community was asked to deliver their opinion, ideas etc. And they did so.

As the creator of the RPG you are of course under no necessity to change your own game. However purposely ignoring the requests of your playerbase is likely folly. I will of course play in the next version of the RPG because I firmly believe that having fun is more important than any petty rules squabbling, however I urge you to reconsider playing the SFG. Will your pride unbend enough to consider it a whole new game rather than a continuation of your own? Because, quite honestly it would not be the Hill without you.

I humbly ask that you visit the Hill Strategic Forum Game Development thread to give your opinions and suggestions because I think I speak for all when I say that the Hill is not the Hill without Dimos the Basileus.

That was my attempt at being diplomatic. As you can see I'm not very good at it.

Well the truth is I don't like all trials, thus I will abstain from the HILL SFG. I will start a new HILL RPG soon. If the playerbase will not join it, then the game won't be launched. We need many players for the new game because the RPG needs many players to resemble a real ''society'' ...
