Another night is over... Screams woke up the guards... But it was too late. Son of the King, the last peasant of the city of Massalia was found dead.

So what's happening now? Is it a win for the mafias? Somebody with more experience in similar games please tell me...

If the mafia outnumber the town (including guards etc) then they win.

I'd have said that if the guards didn't count as town, that should have been clearly stated in their roles. Usually all power roles count as town.

Yes , but the main problem here is that the guards know themselves, as the mafia know themselves... They are more or less revealed to the enemy. The basic idea of a mafia game is to search or guess who is your enemy. If you insist, the game shall continue. Keep posting; if someone has to note elsewise, let us know.

I've seen similar situations before; it's just unlucky/not clever enough play for the mafia if the guards survive this long really.
