While I don't find those funny at all, I have to agree that first two Strongholds are some of the best strategy games ever.

I'm tempted to reinstall them and finally try to finish the Crusader trail campaign.

The Crusader trail is fun,but I prefer to play the fan made maps I download from Stronghold Heaven.

And now this part may seem odd...
I played the game so long that I could imagine all the sounds in my head while I kept the speakers turned off. Both that of units and the melody.
And I also did an experiment to confirm this. My friend was a supervisor. I was playing the game with the speakers turned off for ten minutes. Then, after ten minutes I started whistling a melody and turned the speakers on. I was at the exactly same part of the same melody which was playing in the game.
Yes, I was playing games instead of studying. Don't judge me.
