Civilisation II
« on: December 03, 2012, 04:01:15 PM »
Has anyone else played? It's from 1996, and was the first PC game I ever got. Rediscovered it recently and it's more tactically interesting than a lot of modern games still (there are some sites offering it free for download, I'm checking out the legality before I flag those up for you guys though).
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

I used to play this game on my godfathers pc when I was young.
It was around 1996, I had no idea what I was doing, but I was having fun.

The middle earth mod is pretty fun too.

At least until the hobbits come and kick your ass with heavy cannon.
