Right all finished. Spent the vast majority of the time repelling Egypt and dealing with rebellion so couldn't really accomplish much.
239BC: Straight off I replenished losses sustained in the last battle and sent the diplomat east to find the Parthians. Later in that year I began construction of a temple to Dionysus and began creating a garrison for Memphis. Spartacus took his army out of Alexandria and crushed the Egyptian army nearby with minimal losses.
238BC: Alexandria was besieged by a second Egyptian army but later that year broke the siege.
237BC: The remnants of the defeated army met up with the second army and resumed the siege on Alexandria. At the same time a third Egyptian army besieged Memphis. As a precaution, I increased thebes garrison to 4 militia hoplites, 4 archers and 2 peltasts.
236BC: Memphis beseigers ran away, Parthia refused my offer of trade so I sent the diplomat off to find others, Armenia was closest.
235BC: Egypt assults the walls of Alexandria and are easily repelled. Armenia traded map information and set up a trade route
234BC: Replenished losses sustained, Egypt attacked the walls of Memphis and was defeated with minor casualties from the militia hoplites. Alexandria besieged again by Egypt, this time Spartacus rode out to meet them and won a crushing victory but at the cost of two generals, Mukaboris and Diazenis.
233BC: Armies were replenished and the diplomat spoke with Pontus, securing a trade agreement and map information.
232BC: Skanis comes of age, Memphis completes an Odeon and all buildings are repaired. Riots are a persistant problem in Memphis and Alexandria but unfortunately the population is increasing due to low tax rates to prevent rebellion. Pontus landed a small army at Crete but quickly withdrew.
231BC: Plague strikes Thebes and Alexandria is under siege again.
230BC: Hellenic courage played a role in the destruction of the Germanic people! Apparently. Riots continue and the treasury is dry now. Later in the year, Memphis rebels and flys an Egyptian Flag. The army pushed out of Memphis was anihilated by a vast Egyptian army.
Good luck to the next person the constant attacks on Alexandria are becoming increasingly difficult and there is no money left, require an army disband really but the troops are needed just to hold the provinces.
