Rob's turn ended 190, so CG's should have ended in 170 not 180...

CG, do you want the "real" version from SOTK for another go, or shall I just carry on from the CG version?

Scheisse. Scheisse. Scheisse.

I guess I'll have to do it again with the "real" version. :(

Alright then, finally got my real turn done.

Egypt is no more! Pontus is all along our northern border but they haven't made any signs of aggression.

The real problem still persists on the western front in the form of blue Romans.

Alexandria and Memphis continue to resist them successfully. Thebes was taken but can be retaken next turn.

On to Jubal!

I think all I have to say is "sorry I suck at this".

Or in long form:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Okay, so current situation:
- We've taken a hell of a lot of losses to the Brutii. Their troops are ridiculously well trained and they're throwing Urbans around like they're peasants. It's ridiculous. We have thus lost Sidon, Damascus, and Seleucia.
- We took Cyprus, and retook Thebes (the latter was a bit of a fluke, the former literally my only good move of this campaign section).
- Brinkazeis is on his ship near Antioch - he does have some mercenary forces, but I suspect what he really needs is more catapults and a lot more men. Antioch and Sidon both have tiny garrisons and the Brutii seem to like keeping their men in the field, so there are opportunities there, I just didn't manage to exploit them.
- Egypt is, as a front, going far better. There are still three Scip full stacks, all swarming Thebes, but Memphis and Alexandria are currently getting valuable breathing space. Also Memphis can now build catapults.
- Consider immediately sending out a large strike force to take Siwa - it's only got a few defending units and if we take it then the Nile valley is more or less safe until/unless the Scipii take it back.
- Next person could also send out an immediate strike from Jerusalem to Sidon, which also only has 2 defending units and can be reached within a turn so should be possible to snatch it before Brutii reinforcements arrive.
--> Or in other words, if we do all the strikes above we could get Sidon, Antioch, and Siwa, or none at all - but even one of them would be a huge help. We cannot afford to lose any more big cities, we need the money too badly and if we lose our ability to afford a war then it'll be the beginning of the end.
- In general, the tendency of the Roman factions to sometimes leave small garrisons is our only real hope, particularly against the Brutii, and even then defending will likely be very tough indeed. There's not much I can say that's comforting about our position really. The only potential light at the end of tunnel will come when the Roman Civil War begins - that might at least give us hope of either a draw-down of troops or even the war stalling/getting a ceasefire on one front.
