I think that the symbol is ok,but it could be a bit more detailed.

Also,what problems do you have with the fire siphons?

Might a trident work better than an anchor as main symbol? I think it looks good regardless, either works.  :)

I thought of that, but then I thought it would be too similar to the "rebels".

I'm probably going to change the Marines unit to use the Scutarii model instead. I think there is too much Romani going on. Either that or change the heavy spearmen to use the heavy spearmen model that Carthage uses, think dismounted Sacred Band Cavalry. Or both, or neither, but probably just the Marines.

Has anyone actually tried it yet? :/

I might also play with the Siphon settings some more; if I increase the rate of fire and ammunition while lowering the damage some I should be able to get more of a stream of fire without making it too powerful.
