My sister once made me an iced sponge for my birthday. It was slightly overcooked and crunchy and the icing was fairly hard too. Was amazingly good. Best cake I've ever had.
So how would one go about slightly overcooking or otherwise crunchifying a spongecake?

Sorry, I will release tutorial 1 soon! (I started a new job on Monday, it's been really busy)

Hmm, I would say leave it in a few minutes longer (Literally 5 minutes - too long would really burn it) or maybe have the oven a fraction hotter than it says? (It's not an exact science - but I'd say that's usually what causes it when it accidentally gets overcooked) :)

This question has nothing to do with baking (unless you have a very strange suggestion for me) but I seem to recall you being one who knows of the making of clothing and costumes so I shall ask here anyway. Do you have any suggestions as to how one would go about dressing as a dwarf or another short and bearded character from middle earth? Was just going to dress in rustic looking clothes and go as a hobbit but I'd have to shave now.

I have a new computer now, so at some point soon (an evening this week, or perhaps the weekend) I'll get around to editing and rendering the video for this tutorial :) .

I know, we've still got to finish editing the footage (work has been crazy for Adam recently) but hopefully they'll be up soon :)

This time, it's SotK's fault for working all the time :P

Also, I'm worried they're going to be underwhelming now :P

All future tutorials will definitely be picture tutorials :)
