IMPERIUM ILLYRICUM DOWNLOAD

ok. we are all waiting on jubal to make the installer  :)

a few words about gameplay...
its no dreamland, its historical accurate.
based on bi NOT ROME, you have nightbattles.
religions catholic, orthodox, pagan
new map nearly 200 regions.
playing time matches the original

tested and balanced for very hard mode. so play at: vh - vh. unit scale:normal. to not get wrong impression.
i never testet different settings.

post me for questiones!

- take a good look at trade, religion, and finances.
- you will need at least 5 to 6 regions to become a decent principality.
- money is rare, spend it wise.
- you will need the peasants.
- all factions are playable.
- take a good look at population growth
- regions are split in main and smaller ones.

Jubal

I'm partway through downloading, will let you know when that's done :P
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

Clockwork

This looks phenomenal, loads of work has clearly gone into this. Gj.
Once you realize what a joke everything is, being the Comedian is the only thing that makes sense.

Jubal

I'm finding it impressive that you've managed to pack up some of these files like four times :P

By child board, d'you mean you'd like a subforum set up for this? :)
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

Lenin Cat

The mod is decent and surprisingly well done. If you can make those unit cards it will be even more awesome!
You can not haz cheezeburger until all cats can haz cheezeburger.

Jubal

If I may do some language clarification: "surprisingly" doesn't always mean that the person is actually surprised in colloquial English - it can be a comparison to the normal, and I think that's how Lenin Cat was using it, to mean "particularly" or "unusually" well done for a RTW mod.  :)

And I would quite agree with that sentiment, it's very neatly put together and I've spent the last few hours having a rather enjoyable time running around as the Ligurians and becoming a bastion of paganism against the christian Dalmatians.  :D

The battles have a very good balance and flow to them as well, and the castles in the loading screens are awesome.

I'll try and prepare a more cut-down file for people to download sometime soon, but it might take a few days - do I have your permission to just get on with that and upload it when I'm done? And did you want me to put this thread into a subforum here so you can have other threads for screenshots & discussion and stuff?

Jubal

Sorry, I was on a tablet, it autocorrected to Liguria!

And yeah, my Balkan history isn't bad but is of a slightly later period, I have a moderate level of knowledge of the 1000s and 1100s but this period isn't well known to me.

I'm not sure how much chance I'll have to fix all this until early/mid next week, at present rate of progress. I'm away all weekend and some stuff needs preparing for a big thing on Friday which is eating time :/

Jubal

Some work has been done!

Actually this really shouldn't be terribly hard to fix, by the looks of it, as so much of it is basically vanilla BI. Fixing model linkages will take some time though.
