So the Tolkien movie was pretty forgettable. Why did you do that Jubal?

Also anyone heard anything on the series someone's supposed to be developing somewhere?

I know as much as that the series is apparently set well into the past in one of the patches Tolkien wrote v little about, so it'll be pretty departed from anything much Tolkien wrote. Might be a fun fantasy series in and of itself of course.
