Welcome to the Fictional Boardgames club!
« on: September 23, 2014, 07:24:48 PM »
Welcome!

This area of the site is for tabletop games that are from major works of fiction.

This includes games such as Thud, Pazaak, etc.

It does NOT include:
- Boardgames about such works - the Ankh-Morpork Boardgame or the Game of Thrones boardgame or LOTR risk should not be here.
- Boardgames mentioned in fiction that were created outside of it - the fact that the Doctor plays chess does not make chess a fictional boardgame.

Happy discussions!
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

There was this one really awesome looking and hard board game that was played by the bad guy in Hunter x Hunter, it's called Gungi, it takes inspiration from chess and other such games as well as a Japanese board game called Shogi.
