Its come for the time to choose where I want to go for work experience, but I have NO IDEA where I want to go

.

If any of the older members have anything they wanna say to help or if someone else is in my situation can you halp! Thank you!

( Im open to ANY suggestions btw)

I did mine at a library, if that helps...

It was pretty good, actually. I'd recommend it. But only if you're a book freak like me...

But seriously, call in favours, ask round your contacts. Maybe one of your parents friends will know something you could do.

I feel your pain. I'm trying to fix up a place at the outreach department of the John Innes Centre, but unless I get it sorted by Thurday or get a time extension I have to pick from the crappy old school list of stuff.

Work experience is nigh on pointless in 90% of cases, either you don't get any training so you can't be involved in anything complex and so spend all your time doing chores, or you get something that could hardly be called a true experience of real world work

I was quite lucky, I got in at a small (3 man) accounting firm. They knew little about computers so I sorted quite a bunch out for them, but then I also did large amounts of filing which was kinda dull, but yeah, if I ever get an office job (I certainly hope not) I have learnt how to put thing into draws efficiently.

My younger brother went too his and they told him that they didn't really think it was worth it, so he could have the time off.
