Happy Festival of Festival Theft!
On this day in the calendar, it is traditional to take, appropriate and edit other people's holiday celebrations to your hearts content, at which point they will probably claim to be grievously offended despite the change making almost no difference to their lives and despite the fact that their belief system stole it off someone else beforehand anyway. Some more traditionalist observers of this festival still try to uphold the old tradition of enforcing the newly stolen festivals by fire and the sword, but in most cases these days a more symbolic form of celebrating by sanctimoniously grouching about other people's way of doing things is more common.
