Kris Drever (Orcadian singer/guitarist) did a gig near me on Friday so I got his new album, it's very good. The guy's mostly known as an insanely good guitarist, but he's also one of the better male vocalists in the folk world at the moment.

This ends up being an average cover because while the girl is a fantastic singer, the dude just doesn't have the right voice for this. Think english is not their native language either, which makes the speed of the lyrics difficult for the dude so that could account for his problems. They're actually spanish.

Still, girls voice is amazing, the playing is great and the video is shot well even if the firekickboxingdancing is odd.

Legit one of, if not the most powerful voices in rock: Lzzy Hale. And given how much rock/metal I listen to, that's really saying something.

I did a few grades on piano, never gelled with it particularly though.
