This is the song I listen to after every tragedy. I haven't shared this with anyone tbh because I just found it was my own thing but anyway it makes me hurt in all the right places. You all know my thoughts on each time this happens, how sorry I am that this occurs and how I say I'd go to extremes that most wouldn't because it makes me so mad initially. But anyway: Placebo's cover of Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill

More seriously, yeah, that song is good easy listening. I guess I'm quite lyric-heavy in what I want out of songs but even I will concede it's perfectly workable background music, there's not much there that really grabs me but there's maybe something for everyone in it at the same time.

Ermergurd. This song is so portugaling good. It perfectly blends notes of Offspring, Bullet, BVB, A7X new and old with a great classic metal theme of drink, be yourself and have fun combined with a heavier message of a eulogy for James 'Jimmy' 'The Rev' Sullivan.

Seriously, without a seconds thought if I had to pick one album to listen to for the rest of my life - Hail to the King. So many good tracks.

I've recently started following Post modern jukebox on Youtube.
It's a bunch of different artists doing jazzy covers of all sorts of popular songs.
If anybody likes that sort of thing, I highly recommend it.

This song has so many layers, it's absolutely fantastic. One of my favourite songs of theirs and I think perhaps one of their best technical works, the background is so evocative, it feels like it goes somewhere and has an intangibility to the sadness of it. So great.
