Note Worthy Mods for Mount And Blade
« on: April 18, 2009, 11:39:14 AM »

Here my friend is Exilian's list of note-worthy mods! Some of these mods I have personally played, and many of them are worth your time. Each of these mods makes Mount and Blade a better game, from bug fixes, to total conversions to utilities for gameplay. This list should have it. In fact, if you have a suggestion for this list you can PM me or E-mail me at:

nighthawk.0110@yahoo.com

[Edit by Boyninja616] Darkstar hasn't graced our presence for a while now. All suggestions can be directed to:

egrenville61@googlemail.com

But enough condescending chatter! Lets get down to the good stuff!

IMPORTANT!!!

ALL OF THESE MODS ARE FOR MOUNT AND BLADE VERSION 1.011. BE SURE YOU ARE USING THIS VERSION IF YOU WISH TO USE THESE WONDERFUL MODS. THANK YOU

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LARGE MODS

Chronicles of Talera (COT) - My first mod installed, and so far, one of the BEST! Adds magic and a RPG feel. Completely new world, completely new way of playing. Epic.

1866: Western Mod

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Sword of Damocles - Kingdom management and bug tweaking to it's best, if you have M&B you NEED this mod. In my opinion, the best mod for the M&B Calradia feel. However, some dissagree, for them Native Expansion (down the page) should work.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Prophesy of Pendor - Made by the excellent modder Saxondragon, this mod is still a WIP, just like COT but it is just as good as most of the other mods. If not better.

Cool! Have you ever tried SR or the Horde Lands out of interest?
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

Yes actually. I had horde lands on here before I had to reinstall mount and blade because of a tweaking issue (I added some animations in a module where they didn't mesh well)

But Yeah, Horde lands was quite fun, I need to reinstall it.

However, what do you mean by SR?

EDIT: Uhg how did I quote myself lol..

Good work. Could this be expanded into a more general list of lots of mods, bust still including recommendations?

Also, it'd make life easier if the features lists were spoilered methinks.

Also... pinned. Just for the whatever of it.

True True. I had planned on making it that big, and (if you have noticed) I have been adding mods to the list slowly... however, it is just a bit intimidating. hehe.

But yeah, that is a good idea, I should have spoilered it.. heh

EDIT: spoilers added.

EDIT: I just now realized how many mods are on that list... *pats self on back*

EDIT2: Added banner, may work on it a bit.

Thank ye.

I need to add some more still, but currently my weekend (at least Saturday) is booked. But I bet I can add stuff on Sunday.

Note to M&B Mod Admin .....

First post needs to be updated ... I'm afraid that Darkstar707 was last active in August

Or alternatively you could lock this thread and I'll make a new one ...

I'll see what I can do.

I'll lock it for the moment, don't do anything.
I used to do actual stuff around here, don't you know?

I would be ever so grateful if you would visit my YouTube Channel :)
