Huh - the over-the-shoulder idle pose with the spear caught my eye. It's one of those things that when you look at it, you realise makes 100% perfect sense and that there's probably not really any other sensible way to carry a spear for a long time, but I've almost never seen pictures of cavalrymen in that pose before. Interesting!

Yeah, I guess I floated from Carthage to Byzantium as they were both major historical might-have-beens, and that was how I ended up with my degree choice & current job and stuff :)
